Introduction to Musterer (animal management database)
This is a short session run by the APF to introduce the use of the Musterer animal database for research groups* at the ANU that are required to use the system.
The Musterer is an online database developed to integrate and make readily available to specific users large amounts of data relating to strains of animals they manage.
Breeding information, experimental information as well as pedigrees, phenotypes and genotypes can be viewed by registered approved users for collation of data.
*NOTE: Musterer will only be made available to authorized persons following confirmation of attendance at one of these sessions.
This course is free of charge for all staff and students; however attendance is mandatory in order to obtain access to the Musterer database.
Contact APF Animal Services at the email address above for further enquiries.
