Course Overview
This workshop is aimed at mid-career professionals responsible for delivering their department’s frontline services: liaising with stakeholders, planning and debriefing projects, reporting on decisions and generally supporting management through writing. Working step-by-step through practical frameworks and templates, you will learn practical solutions to everyday business writing problems, such as wordiness, poor structure or unclear intent. You will gain a new confidence and a sound understanding of what is expected when writing different business communications.

- Ensure your writing addresses the purpose and audience accurately

Provider Biography
This workshop is delivered by Stephanie Oley who is an experienced business writer and writing coach. Stephanie’s writing career has spanned across government, private sector and higher education. In 2013, Stephanie became a partner at a Sydney creative agency, The Offices, where she oversees day-to-day proposal writing, content marketing and a range of corporate client writing projects.

The following charges will apply for non-attendance at a workshop with cost unless the registrant nominates a colleague (who meets the eligibility criteria for the course) to attend in their place.
- Notification of cancellation received within 0 – 5 working days of the course date will incur a charge equivalent to 100% of course fees
- Notification of cancellation received within 6 – 10 working days of the course date will incur a charge equivalent to 50% of course fees
Please note for non-attendance due to illness or caring responsibilities, reasonable evidence will be required to waive the non-attendance fee.
