GIS008 - ANU- Intro to Adobe Illustrator CC & MapsOnline
Learn how to access, download and customise the bespoke maps available on CartoGIS's AsiaPacific MapsOnline website. You'll be shown how to navigate the site, understand the different map products and download maps. You'll learn the difference in the file formats offered and their intended uses. Then using Adobe Illustrator CC we'll take you through introductory skills in editing a downloaded maps to suit you specific needs. At the completion of the course you'll have a quality, customised map ready for your thesis, publisher or presentation. This course is available to CAP staff and HDR students only. GIS008 is the equivalent course which is open to all ANU staff and HDR students.
